Everything included

The whole platform. Not a limited tier.

Every capability here is free for every institution, with no upgrade path, because there is nothing to upgrade to. What follows is split honestly into what ships on August 15, 2026 and what lands later in 2026.

At launch August 15, 2026

  • The full NACE competency assessment

All eight NACE Career Readiness Competencies, measured across 25 validated items on a five-point frequency scale. The national standard, implemented faithfully.

  • 360° feedback from employers and faculty

Students invite internship supervisors, employers, mentors and faculty to rate the same competencies. Secure single-use links, no account required for raters.

  • Self vs. observer gap analysis

The insight students actually need: where their self-perception diverges from how the people who work with them see them. Blind spots and hidden strengths, surfaced clearly.

  • Your brand, not ours

Your logo, your colors, your institution name throughout. Students see your program, on your own subdomain or your own custom domain.

  • Cohorts, terms and longitudinal tracking

Organize by class, program, cohort or academic term. Track the same student across multiple experiences and watch growth over their whole degree.

  • Experience-based measurement

Assessment is tied to a real experience: an internship, co-op, job, course or campus activity. Context makes the data meaningful.

  • Bulk import and roster sync

CSV import for students, cohorts and terms, with validation that tells you exactly what went wrong before anything is written.

  • Student-owned reports

A polished PDF students are proud to share, plus a LinkedIn-ready summary. Their data belongs to them and follows them after graduation.

  • FERPA-first by design

Strict tenant isolation, complete audit logging, configurable retention, and full student data export and deletion. Built for a security review, not around one.

  • National benchmarking

Compare a student to their cohort, a cohort to your institution, and your institution to anonymized national norms by competency, major and institution type.

  • Accreditation-ready reporting

Purpose-built exports for AACSB, ABET and regional accreditors. Map competencies to your learning outcomes and produce the evidence your assessment office needs.

  • AI-powered next steps

Every student receives a personalized development narrative for each competency: specific strengths, concrete actions and curated learning resources.

  • Campus SSO, optional

SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect. Shibboleth, InCommon, Azure AD and Google Workspace. Publish our metadata to your identity team and students sign in with their campus credentials.

  • Custom competencies and questions

Add your own competencies alongside the NACE eight. Institution-specific outcomes, high-impact practices and accreditation items, all in one instrument.

  • Open API and webhooks

A documented REST API and webhooks so career readiness data flows into your SIS, your data warehouse and your existing dashboards.

Why free

Free platforms deserve hard questions. Here are our answers.

Career readiness measurement sits behind five-figure contracts and demo calls. That keeps it out of reach of exactly the institutions whose students need it most. We think that is backwards, so we removed the price.

  • Free means free

Not a trial, not a freemium tier, not free for the first hundred students. The entire platform, every feature, unlimited students, permanently at no cost.

  • We do not sell data

Student data is never sold, never brokered and never used to train third-party models. Benchmarks are computed from anonymized, aggregated data with minimum cohort thresholds.

  • No advertising

No ads, no sponsored content, no upsells inside the student experience. Nobody is marketed to.

  • Your data is portable

Full export at any time in open formats. If you leave, you take everything with you, including a complete archive for your records.

Questions

The things people ask first

Is it really free?

Yes. Every feature, unlimited students, no time limit and no credit card. There is no paid tier waiting behind a door.

How is that sustainable?

The platform is built and maintained by Champlin Enterprises and runs at genuinely low cost. We believe career readiness measurement should not be gated behind a five-figure contract, and we are funded by our other software products rather than by this one.

What happens to student data?

It stays yours. We never sell it, never broker it and never hand it to third-party model training. National benchmarks use anonymized aggregates with minimum cohort sizes so no individual or small group is identifiable.

Do you use the NACE competencies?

Yes. The instrument measures all eight NACE Career Readiness Competencies. The framework is NACE's; this platform is an independent implementation of it and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NACE.

Can raters use it without an account?

Yes. Employers, supervisors and faculty rate a student through a secure single-use link with no signup and no password.

Can we use our own branding and domain?

Yes. Your logo, colors and institution name throughout, on your own subdomain or a custom domain you control.

Does it support campus single sign-on?

Yes, optionally. SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect, covering Shibboleth, InCommon, Azure AD and Google Workspace. You can also run without SSO entirely.

What if we already used the previous version?

Version 2.0 is a complete rebuild on a modern stack. If your institution has historical data, we will migrate it. Get in touch and we will handle it before launch.
